Cody Longo, perhaps best known for his turn as Eddie Duran on Hollywood Heights, has died. He was 34.
TMZ first learned of his death earlier today, but the late actor was found dead at home in Austin, TX.
According to a family member, Longo’s wife, Stephanie, was working at a nearby dance class and got worried when she couldn’t contact him, bringing police to the residence for a welfare check. He was dead in bed as cops broke through the home door.
Longo has been abusing alcohol for years and spent time in treatment this summer, according to the source. Longo’s family suspects a relapse caused his death.

Stephanie told TMZ that Longo was improving and fighting for his children. “The finest father and spouse. Our world is broken, “remarked.
Longo, known as Cody Anthony on IMDB, also appeared on Days of Our Lives in 2011 and Nashville in 2016. Bring It On: Fight to the Finish featured him.
He is survived by his wife, 7-year-old daughter Lyla Lou Alia, 5-year-old son Elijah Christiano, and an unnamed 1-year-old boy.
