Lance Stroll bio
Lance Stroll is a Canadian racing driver who currently competes in Formula One for the Aston Martin Cognizant team. He was born on October 29, 1998, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, to Lawrence Stroll, a Canadian billionaire businessman and Claire-Anne Callens, a Belgian fashion designer.
Stroll began his racing career in karting at the age of nine and quickly progressed to car racing, making his professional debut in Formula 4 in 2014. He won the Italian Formula 4 Championship in 2014 and the Toyota Racing Series in New Zealand in 2015. Stroll then moved up to the European Formula 3 Championship in 2015, where he finished fifth overall, and won the championship in 2016.
In 2017, Stroll made his Formula One debut for Williams, becoming the second-youngest driver to start a Formula One race. He secured his first podium finish at the 2017 Azerbaijan Grand Prix and finished the season in 12th place in the driver standings. Stroll then joined the Racing Point team in 2019, which later became the Aston Martin Cognizant team in 2021.
